Terms & Conditions

The rules that govern access to and use of EduGeNie’s learning platform, content, subscriptions, and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduGeNie’s website, application, games, assessments, subscriptions, or related services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you are using EduGeNie on behalf of a child, school, organisation, or legal entity, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Eligibility and Parent Consent

EduGeNie is designed for children, parents, guardians, educators, and authorised institutions. A parent or legal guardian must create or approve accounts for users who are below the age required to provide valid consent under applicable law.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of the platform.
  • Account details must be accurate and kept secure.
  • Users must not share passwords or allow unauthorised access.

3. EduGeNie Services

EduGeNie provides problem-solving, reasoning, logic, educational games, progress tracking, recommendations, reports, and related learning features. We may update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features to improve safety, quality, performance, or educational value.

Learning outcomes may vary between users. EduGeNie does not guarantee academic grades, examination results, admissions, or any specific developmental outcome.

4. Accounts and Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include:

  • Attempting to access another user’s account or private information.
  • Copying, scraping, reverse-engineering, or reselling platform content without written permission.
  • Uploading harmful code, offensive content, or material that violates another person’s rights.
  • Manipulating scores, attempts, leaderboards, subscriptions, or progress records.
  • Using EduGeNie for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or commercial purposes not authorised by us.

5. Subscriptions, Fees and Payments

Paid plans, if offered, will display the applicable price, billing period, taxes, included features, and renewal terms before purchase. By completing a purchase, you authorise EduGeNie or its payment partner to charge the selected payment method.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions may renew automatically. You can cancel future renewal through your account or by contacting us before the next billing date. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund entitlement; refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

EduGeNie and its licensors own all rights in the platform, including its brand, software, game mechanics, illustrations, designs, text, audio, videos, assessments, reports, and learning content. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services for their intended educational purpose.

7. User Content and Feedback

You retain ownership of content you submit, where applicable. You grant EduGeNie a limited licence to host, process, display, and use that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

8. Child Safety and Responsible Use

We aim to design age-appropriate experiences and minimise unnecessary data collection. Parents, guardians, and schools must ensure that a child uses EduGeNie in a safe environment and follows reasonable screen-time practices.

EduGeNie is an educational support tool and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or special-education advice.

9. Availability and Third-Party Services

We strive to keep EduGeNie available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. The platform may depend on hosting providers, app stores, analytics tools, communication providers, payment gateways, and other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where required for security, legal compliance, non-payment, misuse, or violation of these terms. You may stop using EduGeNie at any time. Provisions concerning ownership, liability, dispute resolution, and accrued payments survive termination.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EduGeNie is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not exclude any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. EduGeNie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service during the preceding twelve months, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Pune,Maharashta will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or dispute-resolution process that applies to you.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, technology, features, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email, or another reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
